The 1000 Mile Trial

Thank goodness it's Friday, and thank goodness for The One Show featuring a vintage motoring event in this evening's live programme - otherwise I might have had nothing much to blip today!

The World Piazza outside Broadcasting House was filled with pre-1940 cars this afternoon. They are all taking part in the 1000 Mile Trial which is running from tomorrow until 19th July.

In the picture are sisters Seren and Elise Whyte from Wales, who are in car number 32 on the entry list, an Austin Seven Super 750.
