Our penultimate day at Fort Augustus, and we treated ourselves to a lazy one. We spent two hours in the pool, which did wonders for my sunburn, the girls and Dougie played chess in the cloister courtyard whilst I photographed all the gargoyles and stone heads, and we once again sat for hours on the banks of the stepping lock in Fort Augustus before heading back to the Chapterhouse to pack, ready for setting off tomorrow. I'm really going to miss this place. We will definitely be coming back!
