EARLY MORNING AT THE BEACH

All right, perhaps not that early, but early for me! We were up and away by 7 am so that Mr HCB could bring me down to Boscombe and then he will drive back later so that he can have some peace and quiet go to watch cricket at the Cheltenham Festival for two weeks.

We came through Southbourne and the light was beautiful - this was taken looking along to Hengistbury Head with the Isle of Wight in the distance. There weren't many people about and it was so peaceful - just like Sundays should and used to be! It's a bit different now 6 hours later - the sun is out, the beach is heaving with people and it's very noisy - how grateful we were to be here when it was calm and tranquil.

Having internet issues so not sure how much commenting I will be able to do later.

"At the beach, life is different.
Time doesn't move hour to hour
but mood to moment.
We live by the currents,
plan by the tides,
and follow the sun."
