Chilly

This is Paddy. He's one of the farm dogs here. He is a real character and specialises in escaping his chain. He then wanders around the farm day and night, dragging the chain behind him and sounding for all the world like a dog ghost. Little Miss AB thought he was a lamb the other day. He and Cousteau play nicely, so that's all good. For the most part, Cousteau just ignores the dogs over by the hay barn, which is also good.

We took the car in for its tune up this morning and it's running well now. All ready for the influx of relief teaching work that will hopefully happen soon.

The dramas of yesterday have calmed down again, but have really just formed a large lump in the carpet they've been swept under. We will have to revisit, but have hopefully bought some time for everyone.

I've tidied and de-junked the kitchen today and dinner is ready on the table for my lovely husband once he has finished fiddling with the cigarette lighter in my car. He's trying to make it work so that I can charge up my GPS in the car; my phone too, hopefully.

So, that's us tonight. It's a chilly one so Cousteau has taken up prime position in front of the fire and I won't been straying too far from it myself.

Night all.
