Cornwall Day 9

St Ives, aeriel view.

We've been flying today. We met our lovely friends at Newquay Airport this morning and after the daily inspection of P's plane he took me for the first flight in perfect weather conditions down the coast over Newquay, Holywell Bay
Mono Monday St Agnes, Portreath, Culdrose, Godrevy and then on to St Ives where we turned to go back up the coast again; I got a lovely shot of the Godrevy Lighthouse (with my knees reflected in the canopy!) ; we landed at Perranporth where we met Mr T and L who had driven there from Newquay; we drank coffee in the sun and then it was T's turn and they flew from Perranporth inland over Truro, St. Austell and the Eden project, over to Falmouth and Mylor and then back to Newquay.
Meanwhile L and I did a short coastal footpath walk from Perranporth to St. Agnes and back and then to meet the boys at West Pentire for lunch.

P&L brought us fresh Plaice from Newlyn Fisheries which I'm cooking for dinner with a few glasses of white perhaps? Life can't get any better - we've had another perfect day.
