Lacecap.

This pretty Lacecap Hydrangea is in a large pot next to our front porch.

It is only in the sun in the morning so I wanted to capture it early.

The flowers are quite small but as the plant's leaves have a lovely red tinge the overall effect I find is most attractive.

Had short shower this lunchtime had to dash out for the washing again. More forecast for the weekend after some hot weather over the next two days. So much for St. Swithen!
