Abel Cote Farm

This is Abel Cote Farm taken from Keighley Road, looking across Crimsworth Dean.
You can clearly see how the land above the farm was reclaimed from the moor by enclosing it with dry stone walls. 150 years ago this would have been cultivated and used for grazing livestock.
Nowadays this part of the farm isn't needed for such a purpose and has been neglected. The moor is gradually reclaiming its lost land.

Viewing 'Large' is a help.
