Single visitor

This lovely Jay is one of a pair that now regularly visit our garden picking up nuts and seeds dropped by the birds using the tree feeders.

They used to be seen in my neighbour's garden but he is sadly no longer with us to feed them. Lucky for us they have decided to give us a try. Been trying to get a decent shot of them for a while.

I hadn't taken much today except for the odd Potting Shed shot where I went for lunch with my friend to regale her with tales from her home town of Edinburgh from last week's trip.

She came back for a cup of tea and as she got up to leave I spotted this beauty.
