I can see you.

We've had Chloe out staying for the last couple of days, but today was time to go home. She was a bit upset, not about going home, but at not seeing Maddy after a couple of full days with her. All this changed when she got home and discovered, that in her absence, there has been a new addition to the family. To say it was a pleasant surprise for her would be a serious understatement, she was delighted.

It wasn't quite a kitten, she was about five months old and had been picked up from the cat and dog home in Edinburgh after she'd been picked up as a stray in Wester Hailes. According to the people who'd told the cat and dog home about her she'd been spotted with a litter of kittens of her own (which were nowhere to be seen when she was picked up) so more of a teenage ma than a kitten really.

When Chloe got home she was quite settled in, she had a basket, a bowl and a favourite chair already. The only thing she didn't have was a name. Chloe decided on Jenny pretty quickly (or Jenny Monkey to give her her full title). I get the impression there will be both a happy cat and a happy little girl in that house tonight.

Here's another more distinct picture of her.
