I saw TWO today.

That's two more than usual. We hear honey bees are getting rarer, around here they seem to be getting extinct.
The second one was much less obliging but was, unquestionably a "bee".
This one looked bee-like and sounded like a bee, but I've not seen one so black since we holidayed up at "Lanthwaite Green" Farm (Around 60ish years ago), were set upon by bees and a small bloke belonging the farm, in his panic, rammed a capful of bees on his head and set off down the valley, at a rate of knots, screeching ...
"The bugger bit us, the bugger bit us." Ought to have been funny, but we were following him hoping to out distance the bees.
