Big ship

This large ship startled us by emerging, as it were, round a corner at quite alarming speed this afternoon - something to do with proximity to land both on our side (on the Ardyne path) and beyond (Rothesay, on Bute, and then Arran beyond) as well as the fact that actually both the big ship and the two biggish tugs were actually going at such a lick, considering they'd only come from Loch Striven and couldn't have been long under way.

On an afternoon that didn't quite produce the promised sun despite being dry and warm, and which we spent on one of our usual walks when we leave it too late to go further afield for exercise, this struck me as probably the most interesting thing I saw when I was thinking photographically ...
