The Cat's Whiskers

Thank goodness for the Mono Monday challenge, this week hosted by Gingernan with the theme of pets. A vile day, thick mizzle and brain squashingly humid. You wouldn't send a cat out in this and indeed our two are curled up in the conservatory - Eddie amidst the freshly pulled onions which are drying out on the settle and Ada on the bristly muddy door mat.
This is Ada who sports a very fine pair of long whiskers. Ada, her sister and her two small kittens arrived here shortly after we did and ensonsced themselves in the conservatory. Only two still remain, Ada and Edie. Ada, or Ariadne or the Big One or something slightly ruder if Himself is involved, is a cat of generous proportions and not a lot of brain. We may have got her all wrong for the other possibility is she has reached the giddy heights of Nirvana for she can sit for hours with an inscrutible expression on her face, dribbling slightly - maybe having incredibly deep thoughts, but probably not. She can't really be arsed to do any hunting and likes nothing better than lounging on her back in the sunshine. She's not terrifically hygenic and indoor living, thankfully, confuses her. Actually quite a lot of things confuse her, but we love her really!

And it's Himself's 300th blip :)
