Loch Croispol

We dropped Jess off at around ten am then headed to pick Brodie up. By the time we got back home and finished packing the car we were on the road for about half past twelve. It turns out Sunday is a decent day for driving up the A9 as it was pretty quiet.

We had a wee stop at the house of Bruar for some lunch then stopped at the good chippy in Ullapool for dinner. We got up the road for about seven o’clock. By the time we’d unpacked it was about eight and still a lovely evening so we went out for a walk. Maddy and Brodie headed towards the beach while Roz and I headed towards Loch Croispol. This shot is looking back over the loch past the old school house towards Balnakiel craft village wehre we are staying. We’re in the first one story building yo can see on the right of the photo. It’s really nice and a lot bigger inside than the website made it looked. Seems like it will be a good base for the week.
