Full Steam Ahead

A visit to the Grampian Transport Museum today where there was a display of classic and vintage cars. This one definitelyfalls into the vintage category. It is a steam powered car, though at this moment there is not much steam coming from the exhaust, a moment or two before there was a cloud of steam. Looks like it was maybe giving rides around the circuit. The car was remarkably quiet, almost no engine noise.

Despite the cloud the day was quite warm, and early rain in the morning did not return to spoil the afternoon.

I had not expected the car to be coming round, nor that it would be moving so fast, I was not ready for it, and although I attempted to pan the shot I did not get it quite right, so the car is not really in focus, which is a pity.
