Great ball of fire!

Back to work today, had a busy day. We went down to the training complex and did some fireground drills as well as a breathing apparatus (BA) drill. Three of us had a turn each of being in control of the drill because in just over a year we will be eligible to apply to be a Leading Firefighter.

The BA drill involved getting the BA on and going into the 'Temple of Doom', which is a three storey smoke filled windowless concrete room, and finding 'casualties'.

Got home tonight in time to give Spence a bath and get him ready for bed. Then Kaz and I went out into the garden. Took today's blip off the balcony in a similar spot to this. It was a lovely orange sunset at about 8.30pm.
