Bulrushes - Taylor Dam

The sun was shining at the Taylor Dam when I arrived there early this morning. There had been a heavy frost and it was very cold in the shade. I spent some time capturing images and was particularly taken with the fluffy seed heads on the bulrushes which line sections of the lake edges. I loved the way the low sunlight was back-lighting this particular clump and I have deliberately enhanced the shadowed areas in order make the bulrushes show their magic lighting.
