Bling your flip flop day

Sorry for my major absence on blip - both in my Journal and comments on others. Work has been awful for one reason and another over the last few weeks and just been snowed under with that and my dissertation!

But the outcome of the awfulness has been how much the staff have pulled together and really gelled! So much so we decided the last day of term would be 'bling your flip flop' day to brighten our term! It was really good laugh and another indication how the staff have gelled together! Our out and out favourite was our caretaker who being the only man always joins in. He had blinged his flip flops and painted his toe nails especially! We also had loom band flip flops, ones that lit up or made noises! It was a real giggle!

We are all exhausted and the children and staff were hot and sweaty. But it has been a terrific end to term and I have to say our school really is amazing! The staff work their backsides off and really deserve this break! The children are wonderful and we are really proud of their achievements! Hope anyone who works in school Truely have an amazing summer and enjoy their rest, any doubters of how hard teachers work can do one!
