Homeward Bound

Up early to finish packing and tidying and then we were off on the long and very hot drive home. We stopped for lunch in Tuxford. This was a completely random stop, but we found a nice café and had a very quick wander round the village to stretch our legs. We saw the village lock up, the Tuxford windmill and a beautifully restored Victorian lamp.

We headed off again, stopping off at my in-laws in Yorkshire for a couple of hours to cool down and then we were on the last leg of our long journey. Just as we reached Scotland the heavens opened. Welcome home!

When we got home, BB was straight into his Lego box and building something. He had missed it. It was late, but we left him to his building.

Not many blips today, but here is the Tuxford lock up. The circular holes are for ventilation.
