Another scorching hot day ... it's the summer of '76 all over again!

The Commonwealth Games got under way this week, me and Dawn are sport addicts, and our living room stays quite cool for most of the day, so we sheltered here watching Judo, Squash, Lawn Bowls and Cycling. We do love our random sports!

Eventually we ventured out to dads allotment to pick some veg for Sunday lunch. It was parched up there. I needed some rain water for my carnivorous plants, and I was already warned that the water butts were running low. They were, and there is no rain forecast!

Pub tonight ... alcohol free night for me though!
