Afternoon tea for our 12th wedding anniversary

29th July 2002 was a swelteringly hot day in a generally poor summer. Today was just as warm but the summer much better!

The tea was courtesy of Susan's neice Cathy and her husband Stephen who gave us a "Red Letter Day" gift for Christmas last year. We decided to keep the treat for our anniversary.

The tea was at Rowhill Grange and Utopia Spa near Wilmington, Kent. It was a haven of peace and tranquility on the edge of London, a very pleasant place to celebrate the date.

In order to prepare for the tea I was required to wash and hoover the car so that it was fit for the lady to travel in style to the venue! After we got back, somewhat queezy from eating too much sugar and fat we had to go for a bit of a walk, just 5 miles and a carrier bag full of beans, beetroot and red onions.

A very fine day indeed, with a very fine lady.
