Across the Ripening Barley Field

22.9C with long sunny spells. Breezy.

Maeve the Deerhound and I went for our walk after lunch. There was more cloud again today, but when the sun was out it was very warm.

Down at the beach the tide was out. The beach was much quieter today, just one dog walker with his dog. Most of the boats were lying on the sand, just Silver Cat and Shamara II moored out in the channel in the rocks. No paddling for Maeve today, the channel was too muddy and full of seaweed.

On the way back up the road from the shore the sun came out and it became very bright. An ideal chance to get a picture across the ripening barley field to the church and the old Primary School.

Later I mowed the back lawns.
