The Legacy Continues....

I've travelled home to Yorkshire for the weekend to visit my parents and my Gran, and to celebrate Yorkshire Day on Friday.

As I was nearing home I started to see some cyclists on the road, and then signs for a cycle event and some fluorescent clad marshals. There was a road cycling time trail taking place on the old A1 road.

After enjoying the recent experience of the Tour de Yorkshire France I pulled over and watched for 10 minutes or so and took a couple of pictures in the dimming light. It was good to see all ages taking part in the event, from teens to oldies. Here is a picture of a particularly energetic cyclist competing for the Yorkshire Road Club.
