Day 9 of 100 Days of Nature

I went outside earlier knowing the rain was forecast to find a picture for the 100 days… 1st August, start how I mean to go on! Luckily this beautiful female silver washed fritillary came to see me & perched & posed for photographs… I kept clicking for ages & took around 400 shots of her… mostly out of focus as she was in a difficult place to reach over & stay still, but I managed a couple!

Got a friend here with me from London staying till Tuesday, so I hope I can find some time to do some photography in between. Off out to dinner tonight, think we all need it! :) xxx
