At the beach

Today, we went  to the southern coast of Rhode Island to see the beaches. This is the beach at the fishing village of Galilee. As you can see it was very crowded, infinitely more so than I am used to on our local beach, way up North. Worse still they wanted 20 dollars before we could set foot on the sand. Me, pay to go on a beach, that was never going to happen! So, instead we spent the money on some delicious clams and lobster rolls in a cafe overlooking the beach. 

The photograph somehow reminds me of some film I once saw; is that a black triangular fin I can see in the water? Probably not.
