Hic! Spanking New and Legal!

This still has just been installed some 50 meters from my door! Now awaiting the first stilling session that should happen in the very near future. Only the big tank which will house the Whiskey, Gin or Grappa which they aim to make, is still missing.

The Silent Pool Distillery isn't the first Whiskey distillery in England but certainly a first in this area. The aim is to not limit the merchandise to Whiskey alone but they will make various liquors running the still a couple of times a week. The Whiskey will be aged in kegs and stored at Denbies vineyard in Dorking.

Now may neighbours and I are looking forward to the launch party.... err I haven't told Ian, who runs the project, that I don't drink spirits!
