Beauty is all around us.

A few snapshots of Great Harwood Farmer's Market.

We have been busy today. Just as well Arthur got us up early and then went back to sleep in the study! Tiffany had a very big cat breakfast, of tinned cat food and chicken.
Maria and her friend Beth are driving back to York and then after visiting friends and family, Maria is returning home on Friday by train, just before the Euston engineering works start on the line she uses to Preston.
Divine timing!
She is good at forward planning and it is better value to pre book the train ticket using her student rail card, which comes with Santander Banking.
We briefly visited Great Harwood Farmer's Market and bought some Fair Trade ground coffee from the One Planet stall which was being run by Katy, our shop branching - out manager and director/volunteer, Annie.
The new pavement re surfacing around the Pugin design clock tower looked very smart.
Vast swathes of Lancashire roads are in poor condition, and I hope eventually all the pot holes will get some attention.
Then Paul and me did the rounds of The Range, Matalan, Asda and Oswaldtwistle Mills in search of bedding for the new Ambleside family caravan.
The Mills had a 70% off sale and we found all we needed there and saved a cart load of money!
We found some tartan single duvet sets for the grandsons, and Julian Charles
duvet sets in the design Oxford for our family. Pillowcases that were £28 a pair in this range, were down to £8 a pair, with an extra 20% off, bringing them to £5 a pair. We were amazed. The design is so beautiful.
Thank you Lord, is all I can say. God always knows our needs and guides us continually to the best place.
Phoned Mum when we got home to update her, and she was pleased about our bargains.
Have a good time blipper friends.
