FLORA

The theme today is "Flora" and I assume they mean the local vegetation, not the waitress at the diner. I was driving, on my way towards home at the end of the day, still didn't have a shot for the day, and right there in the median strip of the road, were these beautiful red flowers...fully in bloom. I quickly stopped my car and got out (the drivers behind me were not too happy about that), grabbed my camera and snapped a few shots. This is one of the ones I came away with. It certainly pays to keep your eyes open to the photo possibilities while driving...and the oncoming traffic! :-)
