BethaBlip 38...

This is my monthly track of my children as they grow to see how they change as time goes by. I take the same photo in the same place each 1st and 15th of each month along with a wee diary of what has happened and how life has progressed for each of them. Bethany on the 1st and Ewan on the 15th. It is quite remarkable and is accentuated by the 1 year ago thumbnail down in the bottom right.

I've been meaning to mention this for a wee while as it's just a wee quirk of Bethany's and I'm sure when she grows out of it, we'll completely forget about it. Bethany has this thing just now which she calls 'Being a fish'. She lies on the bed/sofa/carpet flat on her stomach with the thighs out to the side and her knees bent and her head to the side. She makes a sound that sounds like she's got a sore stomach or something and everytime we ask her, she just says 'I'm being a fish!' as if it was obvious. I can't actually help asking if she's okay everytime she does because it looks and sounds so odd.

MrsTFP's friend Moneka was over from Australia for the the best part of January and we all went with Granny and Grandpa Kilmarnock to stay at a cottage near Alnwick for a week at the start of the year. We virtually got snowed in so there was lots of fun to be had in the snow and just relaxing outside of the normal routine. Bethany is holding up her 'Go Fish' cards of which we played a fair few hands whilst away.

Bethany went through a wee flurry of playing with her camera over a couple of days. She even posted a couple of blips. Can you find them?

One development that I'm totally impressed with is Bethany's drawing ability. We have a couple of those magnetic board drawing etch-a-draw things from christmas and she has started really shaping out drawings of things rather than the early toddler scribbles and smudges. Most things have very discerable features and she has also learned to write the B for Bethany as she announces everytime she does it.
