Hot!

Our first full day in Dubrovnik, and it was very hot. After a leisurely breakfast (probably the best breakfast I have had in any hotel in any country I have visited) on the patio with a superb view towards the walls of the old town, we took the short stroll into the town and wandered the narrow streets. Later in the day we decided to take the walk round the walls - not really the best time to do it because it was still very hot, but it provided excellent views across the red roofs and out towards the sea.

There were so many photographs I could have chosen for today's blip, but I eventually settled on this one which perhaps conveys an impression of the weather and shows off the beautifully clear waters of the Adriatic.
