These Two

Oh what a great vacation we are having. These two are like two little peas in a pod. So cute together.

The day started with us having some breakfast in the room, and heading off to the water park. It was our last day at the lodge, and we needed to get the most of it. So many things to do. SLIDING down the slides. Playing in the FOUNTAINS. and waiting for the BIG bucket to dump on them. This is pretty typical of my Sugar. She stands around like it ain't no biggie, while her friends look on with awe. My girl just doesn't often show her excitement. She is such an even keeled sort of kid. She is also such a patient waiter. Adore that shot.

It was interesting to see, Sugar's "mother hen" come out in her. often I'd look over and see her in the act of "protecting" her friend. In this case, a boy was chasing them...and squirting water at them. I love how happy her friend looks....and how worried Sugar looks. So very much like her.

There were so many things to do for a final time. Big Foot Crossing. And one more shot at River Canyon Run, and this time...all on their own. So proud of themselves.

L's dad arrived and joined us for some water fun in the afternoon. We had some food, and more water play before finally having to split up and go our separate ways. It was hard for the girls to say goodbye.

Sugar got a fun glitter tatto, and we were on the road. We headed south, and off to the coast where we arrived at our destination in time for some yummy ice cream, and a hotel bedroom. We each got our own bed...and feel happily to sleep.
