On the banks of Mote Park Lake

"The gods do not deduct from man's allotted span the hours spent in fishing" was a quotation I read about some years ago. There are many such quotations from a fishing quotes website.

We were on our way into town to take a broken computer to be collected by a courier. A futile action as it turns out as the company who are collecting said computer failed to send us the necessary documentation. This is a brand new computer with which we've been having problems straight out of the box. Running Windows 8 every time it did an update it failed, tried to revert to before the update and then got stuck in a loop. We had to do a factory reset each time and lose all the data. The most annoying part was the company who sold it to us felt it was our responsibility to return it to the manufacturers.

It was not an entirely wasted journey as we stopped for coffee at Pop's but even this disappointed as it is usually very good. This time it was not really hot enough.

After lunch we went to the allotment to do some tidying and harvesting. Brought home a 5 1/2 lb cabbage! as well as potatoes, even more beans, yet more courgettes and a squah that I inadvertently broke off when trying to put a tile under it to keep it off the ground.
