Grey and Grainy

14.7C with rain, rain, and more rain. Wind up to 29 mph gusting to 40 mph.

As the wind picked up last evening and the rain set in we had a power cut. Round about midnight. Haven't heard what caused it.

Apoethcary7's day off, which was supposed to be Wednesday but got changed to today. We went out a little later than usual and just went to M&S for coffee and treats then came straight home.

When we got back the rain was off a bit so we took Maeve the Deehound for a walk up to the church. On the way back I took a few shots of the three trees with the little FS16 which I had in my pocket. Taken from the same spot as yesterday's blip. I thought this one in 'film grain' setting suited the day.

Inspired buy the first in the new series of Who Do You Think You Are, this afternoon we have been trying to look for some Northern Irish ancestors on websites recommended by two family history magazines. Looking for Irish ancestors can be very frustrating because a lot of records and census data have been lost. We found hardly anything we didn't know before. It might have been more fun to go for a walk in the rain and wind :-)
