Getting sorted

Wasn't that super moon brilliant last night? I got a pleasing photo at about midnight with my camera balancing precariously on a wall (no tripod).

By the way, yesterday's photo was not of our boat - Gavin is far too much of a sailing purist to ever set foot in a motor yacht. Our boat is a mono hull sailing boat, and thankfully the older boys have the strength to help with all that rope pulling while I relax with my book!

Today was hot and humid again - the temperature inside the boat was 30C! Luckily we do have air conditioning but it is not always on - when the hatches and door is open it is a bit pointless to run it. Gavin and I went for a wonderful long walk along the beach front quite early this morning, which is when I took this photo. The council were hard at work cleaning and sweeping all the beaches in preparation for today's crowds, there was a yoga class being held under a gazebo on the beach...it all looked very pleasant. Then we spent about another hour walking around looking for a supermarket....sound silly but not to easy to find, and we don't speak any Spanish to have asked. We did ask someone but ended up at the fresh fish market....

We stocked up on provisions and then after lunch it was just too hot to sit on the boat so we decided to go out for a sail and get a breeze. We had a lovely afternoon sailing and then came back to port to get ready for supper.

We are going up the coast to spend a night at another little harbour on our way to Barcelona. We have about 5 hours sailing ahead of us tomorrow so it will probably be an early start.
