Sgwarnog: In the Field

It's been a couple of months since I last brought you my One Tree. The moor in late summer sees the grasses bleached and the heather blooming. We've been told that Baildon Moor used to be covered in heather, before the bracken began to ease it out. There is still a fair bit about, but perhaps not the unbroken swathes that are a feature of the the higher bits of Rombalds Moor to the north.

The leaves on One Tree itself are growing spotted and brittle, but should be with us for at least another couple of months.

It's good to be back on home turf, but here are three back blips from from our short break in Hull, should you be interested:

Day 1: Humber

Day 2: Look Both Ways

Day 3: Suspended
