Summer plenty

Our young housesitters were very dutiful about lugging the pump down to the garden and watering it every day. Their reward was to eat as many tomatoes as they wanted, but that turned out to be not very many. So we have plenty to feast on. They really are that red, I haven't fiddled with the colours. We had these with olive oil and salt, and a glass of rosé. There are also courgettes, one aubergine and (courtesy of our neighbour) some peaches.

Today wasn't quite as cool as yesterday workwise, as I spent the latter part of it dealing with literally thousands of spams bombarding a client's web server and drowning out legitimate email. Still, all seems to be back under control now. I may manage to spend a little time catching up with blip this evening, but there's also bread making and GBBO to be fitted in.
