Day 5 of our sketch outings. Today we visited the NT Longshaw Estate on the edge of the Peak District National Park, just south of Sheffield. This was the first Thursday that we've had to cope with any rain, though by the time I took this photo the sun had made an appearance. So rain stopped play on two occasions, the first in the morning when we were sat looking out towards Grindleford and the Hope Valley, and the second (more seriously) when we were sitting outside the tea-room. So of course we then had to seek shelter and more warming drinks.

By the time I drove home along our valley at around 5.30 the storm had well and truly arrived and the rain was sheeting down!
