Smallest Border

I decided last night that I would not get up at my usual time of 0700 hours, but would have a lie-in until 0900 hours. However, I woke up at my normal time with a very bad headache. The GOG brought me some coffee and pain relief and I told him to wake me up at 0900 hours, which he did, apprently I promptly went back to sleep, not waking up until 1100 hours; a wasted mornng! However, when I did wake up the headache had gone.

It is surprising that I do not have another headache by now as I have been fighting with my Mac computer, having decided that this time the Windows machine really has to go. The state of the art Sony that the GOG gave me last year (bcause he did not like Windows 8) has been nothing more than a pain in the rear end. The keyboard sticks so that you do not always get the letters you think you have got, but the last straw was last week when ‘Word’ told me that I did not have any prooing tools for English. No amount of downloading them from the web site has made any difference, so the time has definately come to go fully ‘Apple’. However that is not without its problems as it does things without being told. Whilst setting up my email accounts on the Mac it told me is was downloading almost 12,000 emails, most of which I have had to delete. It also told me that it had sent sixteen emails, to whom I know not. The main problem with the Mac will be the OU’s filehandler for marking, there is a version for the Mac but I will need to make sure that I can use it before/or if I get a group in October.

Today’s picture is of the smallest of our ten borders, which contains a jumble of Fern, Phlox, Golden Rod, Crocosimia, Firethorn, Everlasting Sweet Peas and Honeysuckle, which grows over everything; in the spring small bulbs and plants flower.
