The Prancing Pony

I do an injustice to this magnificent Lucitano, Tulio but the Tolkein title came to mind as she elegantly danced to the music ridden by renowned falconer, Jonathan Marshall. The act was particularly thrilling as the Spanish horse riding display also included flying falcons to a lure.

Jonathan said he was having to slow Tulio down because of the very damp conditions, normally her dancing would have been done at high speed. That would have been awesome to see with her tail and mane being flung about.

The Man and I had been given tickets to Lowther Show. We have been doing the Driving Trials for about 25 years as traders but this time we were visitors, enjoying the entertainment and photographing the activities.

When I visited The Mother in the evening, she was telling me how she had decided to try and eat more. She is now accepting biscuits will all the cuppas and enjoying the fruit and ice cream offered at meal times. Also, by asking for more gravy she is able to eat some potato and veg. Very pleasing news!
