On the Boatyard Slipway

16.5C with bright spells and some afternoon showers. Zephyr.

Maeve the Deerhound and I went through to Arbroath and had our walk round the harbour before 9am. The tide was out so the lock gate between the inner and outer basins was closed letting us walk round in a loop. On the boatyard slipway Day Dawn was looking rather lonely all on its own. The larger fishing boat Launch Out which had been there recently is now back at sea.

Before lunch Maeve and I had a walk up to the church. Just a short walk as there was much sport to be watched on telly this afternoon. F1 qualifying, a Rugby League Cup final, and the extra time in the MacAulay Cup (shinty) from Oban where Newtonmore scored in extra time to defeat Kyles Athletic.
