Who's the daddy?!

Well, if you saw this handsome chap from behind, there would be no doubt in your mind!

As Sav was on nights last night I wasn't expecting him to be up and about too early today, but he woke early ( 10ish ) so by early afternoon we were ready to get out of the house.

We often pass a sign for a Bison and Elk farm, Bush Farm, so decided to head off over there.

As well as the Bison and Elk ( neither particularly keen to be seen I might say ) there were rheas and guanacos ( from which llamas and alpacas have been bred ) that were easier to spot as they were in a smaller field and the rheas had decided that the grass was the best around the perimeter fence, so they were particularly easy to see.

On the last stretch of the circuit we were able to get a bit closer to a group of Bison so I was finally to get the bison blip is set my heart on. Quite honestly, with the number of flies there were around them, we were actually quite pleased that they weren't too near the fence!
