Happy 90th Birthday!

A bit of a cheat today. I took this photograph yesterday, but it is such a sweet one, I wanted to include it in my journal.

Mr. W's mother's 90th birthday is today, and we are in Florida to help her celebrate this momentous milestone. Yesterday, we sprung our grandson from Kindergarten so he could come wish his Great Grandmother a happy birthday, and here he is with both of his Great Grandparents.

Today has been a mad rush of running about, getting balloons and decorations, festooning the Birthday Girl's living room, buying ingredients for tonight's cocktail party in her honour at our hotel, then getting dinner arrangements squared away. We've decorated our hotel suite with balloons and banners and flowers as well (that's where the cocktail party will be held), and we're about to chill the champagne! The presents are wrapped, and now we are hot, tired, and smelly! Time enough for a shower and a freshen-up before this evening though, so all is well!
