Daffodil Day

At the end of August every year there is a big fund raising drive in New Zealand for the Cancer Society. It occurs on the last Friday of the month and it is called “Daffodil Day”. There are displays all around town and volunteers out and about selling live daffodils or pretty artificial ones to wear. Daffodil Day is the major fund raising event for Cancer Societies and is hugely supported by the public. This display was in the front entrance to Wairau Hospital …. It was quite magical…. And a wonderful chance of a blip!
