A Day Worth Recording

We're here! We're in!

Not without trauma.  Three lorries and a car set off from Cambridge. Two lorries and a car arrived.  One died on the A14. The one with the bed in.

The day didn't start well as, for various reasons, we had far too much stuff left at the house to fit into the car.  Left a few bits with neighbours to collect later, and stuffed every pocket with bits and pieces - some of which we're still finding a few days later.

I'm having to backblip this because some spectacular incompetence by one phone company means we are without internet at home.

Much of the journey here was with E on the phone to solicitors, agents, buyers, vendors trying to get the first solicitor in the chain to move at a pace faster than a particularly slow glacier.

Still, 300 boxes and 100 cups of tea later, we're in.  Thankfully we purchased some beds too, so we're in one of our own self-catering units tonight.

I took some other photos today but rather liked the symmetry with yesterday's blip.

Zonk.  Will be back erratically for a while.
