Life, not as we see it.

Istanbul the magnificent.

Day two unfolded after an uncomfortable night on a harder than usual bed, fighting with Mrs T. over the cover. Note to self:- Turn the a/c down.
We went to the Topkapi Palace / Harem first thing, to avoid the crowds. Good decision as when we emerged from the harem, everyone und der brotter (spelling??) were on the rampage.
The pm was spent wandering with intent, and we succeeded in picking up out ferry tickets for Saturday, and wearing out our feet. So, we dined locally this evening instead of investigating Taksim area. Mistake ish, but not worth reporting.
Tonight's collage shows, from top LHS, two contrasting styles of Muslim dress, selfie in another mirror, old timber architecture, Hagia Sophia mosque + fountain, two shots of light & shade in the Golden Passage of the Topkapi Harem, some unusual geometric types (some centuries old!) and one of the major rooms of the harem. Sorry, can't recall it's function, but it was important, castration or circumcision, I think
