Thunder Clouds

Dear Diary,

What a difference a day makes! The thunder clouds built up and we knew something was coming. A high wind whipped the trees and scattered leaves. Not a lot of rain, unfortunately, since we are in need of a soaking shower but it did bring in the cool air. This morning it is like September should be...clear and fresh and wonderful!

For all the things we can control in our lives, the weather is not one of them. We simply have to sit back and let it have its way. It makes one feel a bit humble, the power of the wind. I love the variety and fickleness of New England weather. It is never dull and routine. If you don't like it just wait a minute and it will change!
