Peace perfect peace

This weekend is Heritage weekend, so there are quite a few places open which would normally be closed.
Usually closed, Heene cemetery in Worthing is was one of these.
Now disused and locked this wonderful cemetery takes 'letting the wildlife take over' to a new dimension!
It is extremely but wonderfully overgrown with waist high brambles, grasses and huge stands of Rose bay willow herb - such a fantastic place!
I took loads of shots avoiding the garden spiders whose webs were slung everywhere, sometimes 5 deep, across a gap! but in the end I chose this shot, because the sentiment written on it just sums the place up so completely!
Not so many spectacular monuments as Highgate, but a real beauty all of it's own....I really can't wait for it to open again in the spring.
