Simple portrait

Good news this morning. The chilli plant has its first flower. Secondly I got on the scales and managed not to be offically over weight. All be it by 0.2lbs but I'll take that.
Headed down to Berwick-upon-Tweed this morning after breakfast. Its MB's 30th birthday and a few friends are meeting up to have a BBQ on the beach after doing some swimming. Arrive to find MB working in the garden. A lot has changed since we were last there and it’s looking much better. A few more friends arrived and after chatting we headed over to the beach. While we went for a swim a few of the others got the BBQ going. Had a nice 1Km swim with the dogs in tow.
This weeks theme is Simplicity so what could be simpler than a photos of Rjukan, mans best friend, on the beach.
Left the beach and headed back to the house before going out to the Berwick-upon-Tweed beer festival. Had a great night trying lots of different beers and getting to know a few more of CB&MB friends.
Back to the house for birthday cake and Cava before playing a new game call Cards against Humanity.
