Machattie Park Caretaker's Cottage

Bathurst is the oldest inland settlement in Australia and we have some nice old buildings dating from the 1800s. This was originally the park caretaker's cottage and is now used by the Bathurst Conservatorium of Music for lessons. The park has lots of beautiful mature trees planted in the same year. It so also very colourful at the moment with drifts of daffodils and poppies, looks a treat. If I am ever without an idea for a blip I can just go to the park.

Today we did very little as we had the grandchildren. We took them for Annie's Icecream ( worlds best Icecream) and a walk to the park. I didn't cross anything off my "to do" list but is is holiday time so doesn't matter.
