MONO MONDAY : TIME.....

.....for a Big Mac? I had already taken a photograph with the Canon earlier this morning, but as I walked up towards the library, after our visit to the Hygienist, I saw this McDonald’s flag with the Town Hall in the background and thought it would be a good pic for Mono Monday - TIME - but as I didn't have the Canon with me, it had to be taken on my iPhone.

Even though it is in mono, I guess we all know what the sign means, as the distinctive “M” is one of those advertising gimmicks that is ingrained in our subconscious mind, especially if we have children!

The Town Hall in Swindon, which was opened in 1891, is a Victorian building and dominates the eastern end of the town centre shopping area, and acts as a definite focal point. It stands on Regent Circus, a large traffic island, around which the traffic direction and rules have changed several times, and will change once again as the new retail and leisure complex opens very soon.

“Time is an equal opportunity employer.
Each human being has exactly the same number
of hours and minutes every day.
Rich people can't buy more hours.
Scientists can't invent new minutes.
And you can't save time to spend it
on another day.
Even so, time is amazingly fair and forgiving.
No matter how much time you've wasted in the past,
you still have an entire tomorrow.”
