Seatown, Cullen

The bad weather of yesterday was just a memory when today dawned sunny and warm and we could walk about in T-shirts; not that we did that much walking when the views from Seatown, the original fishing village which gave rise to the modern Cullen rising up from the harbour, had His Lordship and I filling our camera cards with image after image.

Afterwards we were content to sit in the sun just above the harbour and sketch the now disused Cullen railway viaduct with the jumble of closely packed fishermen's houses beneath.

With the day flying past and the sun still shining we are about to relax in the sunhouse at the back of the cottage and have a glass of wine.
A lazy day but a lovely one to take when we can get it.
